As I sat through another long and grueling session of chemotherapy (diagnosed  with AML in Jan. of 2024), I watched as a young couple struggled with multiple bags and a newborn. The mother sat in the treatment chair trying to organize their bags, while the father attempted to soothe an obviously irritated baby. In that moment I thought to myself 'These parents have enough to worry about navigating leukemia treatments, why have to fuss over the diaper bag too?' The mother and I had a heartfelt encounter, speaking of our diagnosis' and the struggles she was having with mommy hood.

Alas, Happy Mommy Essentials was born! Determined to make life easier for parents, especially during challenging times, we prioritize design features that seamlessly blend functionality and convenience.
